The Campus Collaboration

Exploring disagreement and social cohesion at universities

Universities are only as strong as the diverse communities within and around them. In a time of heightened disagreement, communities and institutions are experimenting with ways to foster connection across difference. The sources in this living bibliography draw together groups, projects and research from around the world to highlight how people are doing disagreement and diversity well.

At the University of Sydney, the Sydney Policy Lab's Campus Collaboration is exploring how students and staff across campus engage with ideas, each other and global challenges. We started this collection to learn from others and expand our understanding of what it means to foster civic life on campus. In looking around the world at great work on social cohesion, civil disagreement and diversity, we hope to find inspiration for ways to invigorate life on our campuses.

Our living bibliography is a collaborative effort. Get involved to suggest related community initiatives, academic work or university projects that can help shape our work.
